C-PLATE BACK UP™
The C-Plate Back Up™ is a hydraulic tool that operates through a three-jaw system (one central and two auxiliary jaws). The jaws perfectly adjust to the joint’s circumference and the float equipment, allowing for make-up and break-out operations without any additional maneuvers. This tool is operated by an HPU console operator. The C-Plate Back Up™ eliminates the need for hazardous manual casing tongs, preventing accidental injuries to personnel. Additionally, it allows for the installation of any spider or bowl over itself and is adjustable to any API rotary table size.
